- Bay Vibes Summer Musicfest 2
- Pier 23
-
on the Embarcadero San Francisco CA USA
(MAP)
- Bay Vibes was appropriately conceived on a bright sunny day in Golden Gate Park by local performer and songwriter, Robin Applewood. While believing that all the bands highlighted in this event have a unique sound, the charismatic frontman for Dogman Joe hopes to expose a common thread that he feels does exist in the Bay Area music scene. Growing up here and spending many years both crafting his own sound and playing out with other groups of performers in various bands, Robin knew to look to his community of friends and musicians to help define and celebrate this distinctive San Francisco sound.
The festival promises an exciting line-up as each band offers a definitive, unique sound ranging from the dance-inspired soul rock of Izabella to the upbeat conscious hip hop of Kev Choice and positive island reggae of Kapakahi. The festival will provide a fresh, lively environment for people who already enjoy this vibe and these bands, as well as those who wish to check out this SF phenomenon for the first time. Come out, enjoy the summer sun, and dance to music on a historic pier overlooking the famous bay that makes this magic come alive.
